I don't know how many copies were distributed in Japan, if anyone can tell me please let me know. There are no obvious differences from the UK/French release, and surprisingly no extra tracks (which is common practice for Japanese releases).

Parlophone decided to re-issue the band's first album with bonus b-side tracks. I like the bonus tracks idea (since the songs are very hard to find, being featured only on the Mother Tongue singles) but it's a complete mystery why the original track sequencing was changed.

The band's final album saw a reduced line up of 4 members and no orchestra. Very guitar-indie-pop.
